In Ethiopia, Dr. Mulualem Gessesse is saving many lives of

Mulualem history Tesema Gessesse, is full of difficulties.
Born in Ethiopia, he has seen many hardships that have hit this country,
including famine and constant war. At age 14 he died his stop. But oddly
enough, this became an opportunity for the child to receive education. Since
his father was military, as compensation for his death, he was given the
opportunity to apply to medical school in Cuba. It was difficult to adapt to
this new country, as everything was there again: the people, language, culture
and even food ... although Tesema bear all this well, devoting full time to the
study.
As a result Mulualem received the profession of pediatric
neonatologist and returned home. The level of medicine in Ethiopia was not very
good and nobody believed in this young specialist. They were very skeptical
with neonatologists, as they felt that save premature babies was not some first
aid. But our hero does not give up and enthusiastically began to do their job.
At first the hospital had not any device to save newborns
with problems. But Mulualem excelled since childhood by his Igenio and began to

breathe on their own, so they need a respiration apparatus. Tesema made this
device with the help of oxygen tanks, pipes and water!
