The child abuse is defined as contacts and interactions between a child and an adult when the adult (the aggressor) used for sexual stimulation the child himself, the child or someone else.
What is and how child abuse defined? Child abuse may also be committed by a person under 18 when this is significantly higher than the child (viíctima) or when the offender is in a position of power or control over another . (National Center of Child Abuse and Neglect-1978) .
Child abuse is any form of physical contact with or without sexual intercourse, physical contact and non-contact made without violence or intimidation and without consent .

Millions of children around the world suffer from Child abuse. Despite the high incidence of child sexual abuse , there is no evidence that currently there are more cases 40 or 50 years ago. The detection itself has risen. Still only they are known between 10 and 20% of actual cases. Today it is estimated that 23% of girls and 15% of children are sexually abused before the age of 17 in Spain.
The sexual abuse of children can occur in the family, at the hands of a parent, step-parent, sibling or other person; or outside the home, for example, by a friend, the caretaker, a neighbor, a teacher, or stranger. However, when sexual abuse has occurred, the child develops a variety of distressing thoughts and ideas.
No child is psychologically prepared to deal with sexual stimulation. The children of two or three years not even know that sexual activity is "bad", will develop problems, the fruits of their inability to deal with the over-stimulation.
